Ive tried to give this place plenty of chances. but everything just comes out bland! As an italian myself it saddens me to see tony ravioli at the counter microwaving my slice! MICROWAVING!! thats happened twice in the four visits I've had. Their fried food is way over fried. and the one time i called ahead to pick up, they told me 20 minutes, i showed up in 25, and then he told me another ten cause they forgot the one entree i ordered, and didn't even apologize. sure accidents happen, but he couldn't give a crap less about my time, or even a "hey sorry bout that". Seems like they just don't give a shit. in a town with 8 other pizza places you think you'd try and step you're game up. Not the case here

Cara Mia catered my wedding for 50 people. It was so affordable and they took care of everything. Easily the best wedding division I made. Agile came and set everything up and we paid a little extra for her to stay and serve. She was so accommodating and really went above and beyond. At the end of dinner she packed the left overs up for guest to take home! Believe me there was plenty! The food was great- especially the Chicken Marsala and the Eggplant Parm. We also ordered a tray of mini canollis that were out of this world. If you need an event catered- you can't go wrong with Cara Mia's.

I found this place a little over a week ago and I have gone back three times since. This pizza is phenomenal. The crust is literally the best crust around, and the sauce isn't too salty or overly runny. If you're looking for a well-priced and fully delicious slice of pizza, stop by this hidden gem!!!!

I'm assuming the previous reviews were either written by employees or people who are not New York natives. My opinion on pizza is that even bad pizza is still pizza. But this place didn't even have Regular slices. I'm a big fan of garlic, but I think that was the only ingredient they used. Very salty sauce, may have been from a can. Still trying to determine of they used real cheese or processed shredded cheese product. It just wasn't pizza in the sense that Ellios isn't pizza. For a tiny pizza parlor in an small neighborhood it was moderately priced with a clean appearance. It saved me a phone call to the dreaded dominos since they were open until 11pm. Not a bad place, but certainly not what the previous 3 reviews portrayed.

We get delivery from Cara Mia weekly. It's always great. Whether you get a pizza or take advantage of their 2 for 1 hero specials. The food is homemade like mama used to make!!!

We just moved into the area and have tried a few places in the local area, and a good pizza place is hard to find! The pizza was GREAT but a bit slow on the delivery! Definitely A+ give it try you won't regret it!

What a fantastic and unexpected surprise!!! Seriously why is this place in such a small town! CaraMia should move to Nassau and compete with the other 10,000 italian places because they are definitely among the better! We came across this place by accident while driving home from the wineries. It was the restaurants 7th birthday so the owners were throwing a free BBQ outside (so nice). We stopped here not because of the free BBQ but because we noticed we had a coupon for this restaurant. We ordered our food. 1 deep dish pizza 1 chicken parm with baked zito 1 eggplant parm with stuffed shells Now the food was pricier then a lot of the pizza/restaurant places out by us in nassau county. So we were worried it was not going to be worth it! We should not have judged this place just because it was in a small town. The food was just fantastic. Huge portions! They even gave us a mini loaf of bread to take home with the entrees. The food was so darn tasty I was literally in heaven, and so was my boyfriend. The pizza was so incredibly tasty as well. They gave us the food so damn hot and ready to eat! We had to smell the aroma of the food for 1 hour as we drive home! It was torture I tell you! We were so happy we stopped here. This really put the cap on an awesome day. Wish I lived closer so I could order takeout from here more often. Give this place a go!

Had a bunch of their pies delivered to Cedar Beach on a Friday night for a frienda kid bday party. That was cool all by itself. So got my own pie for the family a few nights later. A LOT of competition in the area over 10 pizza joints I can name off the top of my head. But my daughter said she like their pies on the beach. Damn this thing smells really good and not like a hot oil on flour glob with funky cheese. Great job - top of the list.

Pizza places on Long Island are certainly a dime a dozen. I won't speak about the food here right now, just the pizza. I enjoy everything about the pizza at Cara Mia- the crust is on the thinner, less doughy side, with just the right amount of crispy, crunch to it. The sauce is well made, fresh and balances with the crust and cheese perfectly. I prefer their plain cheese pizza. My only complaint is that their pies are somewhat on the pricey side for this area.

The pizza is great, but this review is mostly for dinner. They have a nice separate section, but just wish there was a hostess stand so it wouldn't be that awkward going in. I liked how the bread basket came with garlic knots, but our first batch was cold. Our Entrees were of great proportion and it is reasonably priced. The taste just wasn't a wow factor. The chicken with artichoke wasn't flavorful and the chicken pizzaiola had mushroom and black olives for some weird reason. There are other great Italian restaurants, so I would just get pizza/heroes here
